iOS/iPadOS appComplex data and reportsApple HIG

An iPad and iPhone app for a major American medical laboratory, designed with Apple's guidelines to handle lots of information and complex reports simply.

Two iPads showing the app: the programs list with its detail and the sales trends with a weekly chart, on a light-blue background

The project

I designed an iOS and iPadOS app for a major American medical laboratory. I applied Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines to create an intuitive interface that handles large volumes of data and complex reports without overwhelming the people who use it.

How I worked

I collaborated with developers, product managers, and compliance stakeholders throughout the project.

What it includes

  • Simple navigation. A bottom bar with five sections: My Calls, Geography, Programs, Search, and Trends.
  • Programs. A list with the date and status of each program (in progress, set-up complete, postponed) and, next to it, the detail: status, date and time, rep, speaker, and venue.
  • Search. A search for professionals and accounts, with indicators on each result so you can decide at a glance.
  • Trends. Weekly sales charts by product, with volume and market share, and menus to choose what to compare.
  • Venues. A search of previously used venues, with the map and contact details.
