Psychologists and educational psychologists needed to leave notebooks and loose spreadsheets behind. I designed a custom platform to manage patients, sessions, fees and payments.

Starting point
A group of psychologists and educational psychologists in independent practice kept patients, sessions and payments in notebooks and loose spreadsheets. They needed something much simpler than practice-management software, but far more reliable than writing everything by hand: one place to track month by month and to avoid building the end-of-month billing from scratch every time.
What I did
I designed a custom platform for independent professionals, built to be used every day without friction. It supports adding unlimited users. Each part of the work lives in its own section:
- Patients. A table with each patient and their monthly fee. The price is set once and inherited by following months; any month is edited with a click and changes are flagged.
- Calendar. A monthly calendar with a box per patient and per day: one tap logs a session. It instantly shows the month’s sessions, the total to collect and active patients.
- Annual summary. Total billed, sessions, average per session and a monthly chart, with the detail for each patient.
- Payment messages. A ready message per patient, with session days, the total and bank details. The text is editable with variables, and can be copied, sent via WhatsApp or marked as sent.
- My profile. Personal and bank details entered once, and a backup to download or restore on another computer.
The design is calm and clear: pastel palette, Nunito typeface and a dark mode for those who prefer it.
